Budget Hotels near Andheri, Jogeshwari, Goregaon, Malad (All West)
Hi,
I have work in Mumbai in June-July-August, each visit will be for around 3-4 days. My place of work will be mostly Goregaon(W) and Malad(W). Whats the lowest price for a AC double bedroom in a hotel in these areas or may be some other areas as well. How far will be Powai from Goregoan and Malad ? Can anyone suggest some decent budget accommodation, i will be coming with my family. Thank You. Anirudh |

Though I can't help with hotels, specially recent prices....
Powai will be about half an hour's autorickshaw ride from MaladW or Goregaon. This is if you are towards the Western side, reaching the Western express highway can take time in the office rush. Generally speaking more hotels on the Western side of the tracks than the Eastern. Malad and Goregaon are large suburbs. Hotels will be more expensive near the railway stations (also more noisy and dirtier surroundings)- if possible, I would find slightly quieter areas, specially if my work wasn't too far away- like Evershine Nagar and beyond in Malad, or off the link road at Goregaon. Better with family. Maybe if you indicated an area where you would be working, some Mumbaikar may be able to help better/
