Best Wine Shops in Mumbai?
Hello,
I would like to buy some imported wines in Mumbai. Does anyone know of any specialty wine shops with a good selection of wines that have been propely stored? Thanks! |

Theres a shop on the ground floor in the Oberoi mall - towards the right as you enter that has a good collection of wines.

Thank-you Peeders, I will check it out.
Cupid4mheaven, I am located in South Mumbai and commute regularly between Colaba and Juhu. The location of the wine shop is the least of my concerns. I am looking for a large selection of properly stored wines. Thanks! |

Try Reliance Fresh Signature store on Warden Rd [Bhulabhai Desai Road] . They have a selection of wines and beers in a separate section in their upper level. To my uninformed eye, they appear to be "properly stored". As it is in South Mumbai, you can easily drop in and find out. There is also a Nature's Basket next door but I don't know if they stock wines, they do stock gourmet / imported foods. You could also check the wholesale liquor store at Sukh Sagar near Opera House Bridge. I do not know about "proper" storage but they certainly stock or will order in just about any alcoholic beverage that is commercially available, and at lower prices than most other liquor stores ['wine stores' as they are popularly named].

There is a very good wine shop in Phoenix mills at Lower Parel near the entrance of Lifestyle showroom. I don't remember the name as I have not been there from the time I am back from US.
You can try out over there and they have very nice collection which is hardly available in any stores across mumbai.. mail me on girishrohira@gmail.com.. What kind of drinks you are looking out for. |
