Aha, there's more on the guy now, or they're repeating it: http://www.idesitv.com/starnews.php

Edit: Hmmm, veering over into more footage of the earlier press conference.

Ok guys, that's it from me.

This is not the end of it as facts continue to surface and the veil is lifted on these events.

I hope i have been of help. I certainly do not want to be doing anything like this again in the future, ever.

I think LilBoy (and I applaud him for it) has clearly and carefully avoided (to the point of getting slightly comical ) naming the country and the religion, Hal. The readers can fill it in themselves. It may hopefully help to keep some blood pressures down.

A side danger with anything like this is always what retaliations in terms of "people's justice" and such it may result in.

This from SATP.ORG

Quote:
Maharashtra Police investigators said that they have evidence that operatives of the Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) carried out the Fidayeen (suicide squad) attacks in Mumbai. An injured militant, identified as Ajmal Amir Kamal, was arrested during the fighting at the Taj Mahal hotel, is suspected to be a LeT cadre and a resident of Faridkot near Multan in Pakistan’s Punjab province. Reportedly two other citizens of Pakistan have also been arrested in Mumbai on November 27. All three of them, identified themselves as members of a LeT Fidayeen squad, the sources said. Based on the interrogation of the suspects, the investigators believe that one or more groups of the LeT left Karachi in a merchant ship early on November 26. On the same night, an estimated 12 terrorists left the ship in a small boat and travelled some 10 nautical miles to reach Mumbai’s Gateway of India. After reaching Gateway of India, the group split up into at least six groups, each focussing on a separate target - Mumbai’s Nariman House, the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus rail station, the Cama hospital, the Girgaum seafront, and the Taj and Trident hotels.

i think perhaps they were joined by another party or allready as has been stated an insider at the hotel(s). A uk connection is being touted and it wouldnt suprise me if a few were indeed uk citizen as many as 4 has been suggested , also a high rank aq was caught on the 26 in uk so obviously something was afoot prior to weds night. A shame for the uk and pak but this is how its been for years shuffling the fodder to and from uk pak-afghan boarder camps. The guy caught in england was connected them i bet and this lot probably were atleast on the uk side too. I fear the backlash now against british asians as this is a pattern now. Got to say glad its over but sad it ever happened OM SHANTI.

Amazing, isn't it, Hal.

Moreover, this was so crude and simple and nearly stone-age that it must therefore be ingenious and evil-master-minded, and Very Costly to boot.

But, I wasn't gonna contribute to off-topic stuff here either. I'm sure a thread on its what's and how's will start soon. (It's only been suggested to start one a dozen of times now too, I personally haven't felt called to. Really, anyone can do so.)

WOW.... hi all.. well... it is with a lot of relief that I see things have finally ended. I can't really believe it all. And just having a fast look over the pages and pages of *amazing* posts that were put here overnight... what a GREAT job all of you have done. It has been .. just an overwhelming and truly awful time... but as has been pointed out.. in a strange way it brought a lot of us much closer together and I know I will NEVER forget these days... or the closeness I have felt with all of you.

There's going to be a lot of news and speculation and anger and hurt coming out now. I hope it doesn't turn ugly and I hope people can focus on the reality that a few insane fundamentalists do NOT represent a people as a nation or an ideology as a whole. Look into your neighbours eyes and you see the same eyes looking back. We're all one in this... and we have all suffered.

Thinking of all those who have lost today.

Much love to all of you... what a group is IM!

What a nightmare for the commandos and police forces! Underpaid, under-equipped, and not nearly enough of them to be able to tackle an entire city under attack ...

I am so relieved that it's over ... and yet, sadly reluctant to trust that it is...

Well.. at the beginning there were reports that several terrorists had escaped into the streets... that first night. As yet no more talk of that, but I would imagine those young guys, if out there, are deciding if they want to slink back to home base and start again, or go out in a blaze of glory.

While all the political back-slapping goes on.. they better be very careful.
