Aye, I spent half of today's afternoon reading reports here dating to last night that it was, well, over.

hopefully - no more worms out of the woodwork at that point.

Thick smoke continues to billow out of several windows of Taj.

As yet, the authorities haven't formally declared the operation over.

All evidence though and Times Now reporter suggests its over. No reason to disbelieve them.

I think they're saying now they still need to scout out the entire building, so while I'm hopeful I'd hold your breaths just a little longer.

This appears to be also why they're reluctant to officially say it's over.

That may happen only after the hotel has been thoroughly combed and declared clear.

Dod squad seen moving into the hotel. Further indication that the search and combing operations are on.

Once again, all terrorists have been killed and "Operation Cyclone" is over.

That's what they are calling it.

remember - the terrorists know the layout of the taj at the back of their hands.
sniffer dogs are being taken in.

its over - but it aint over.
a while more - the taj has approx 800 rooms.

I haven't heard anything of this sort. Every report says its over and all terrorists have been put down.

LilBoy, it was sort of comical today to be reading said reports dating to half a day earlier stating time and again that it was over, with live coverage going on about fresh blasts and whatnot.

So I don't mean to spoil the party, I'd just give it a little more time to be really sure. I truly hope it is over, who wouldn't. Don't envy those guys having now to comb the building btw.

Mumbai Police officers seen smiling and relaxed. The mere police presence suggests they have taken over from the Army & Marine commandos.

Official confirmation coming in next 2 mins.

Are you sure they're not re-running something? That had been the story for a long time yesterday or so. (Evidently wrong by now btw.)
