Ugh.. yes, seeing this on CNN IBN now. Awful.. but in many ways predictable after seeing how intense the firing got. They will have been painted into a corner.. and you know they weren't concerned for their own lives. It's really really sad. |

I can imagine their mindset. The terrorists would have sensed that their end is near. So they decided to shoot the hostages just before they fell to the security force fire. I am thinking of the families who have lost loved ones. |

Sandeep Unnikrishnan - A major in the MARCOS (Marine Commandos) Chandra - Commander (MARCOS) The nation owes them a hell of a lot of gratitude. Their families must be shattered. |

They're still securing the 3rd floor of Nariman House... but also still dealing with the massive mob of people. Spotlights have kept the place lit up like daylight.

On NDTV they are saying just one terrorist at the Taj. That is different to other stations however.

The foreign minister from one of our neighboring country is addressing press in Delhi.
He has said that " My country is willing to co-operate with India at every level". We will see. Actions would count louder than words. |

Once again confirmation the Pakistani ISI Chief will come to India to assist in the investigation. Reporters seeing this as a very positive move in India/Pakistani relations.

You really believe they are serious? I don't. There are dozens of India's Most wanted hiding in our neighboring country for well over a decade now. They refuse to hand them over. This is lip service. This is not an appropriate medium to delve into the depths of this issue. So I would leave it at that. Some other time perhaps. |

Allthough there seems to be a Pakistani connection ( hasn't been proven yet)
I personally think the Pakistani people and Goverment do not condone the actions of the terrorists and are just as shocked as everybody. It is too easy to fall back on the sterotype thinking damning them all. Remember.... a large part of the cell who planned and excecuted the 9/11 attack lived ,met and planned theit deed in Germany. That does not make Germany a terrorist state or responsible.

NSG has handed over to other forces at Nariman House. Saying it's over now officially. All floors secured. Waiting for the bodies to be brought out now.
