If any question of incompetency comes that is from the side of certain political leaders or beaurocrats who are used to play blame game or initiate action considering election/ vote bank/personal ambition/religion as prime parameters. Anyways, Indian Army, Navy, Air Force, Special Forces are top notch professionals and adequately equipped with modern arms/ amunitions .Though inordinate delays /cost escalation in developement of nuclear submarines/ fighter aircrafts/ destroyers
is crippling Navy, Air Force to certain extent.

It is bedlum outside the Nariman House. There's the commandos, the police, the large media throng and last but not the least, ultra curious bystanders.

Amidst all this, no signs of any hostages.

Reports coming in now say fresh gun shots have been heard coming from Nariman House.

Hmm.. India TV is reporting shots fired *again* in Nariman House. With all that crowd going crazy, after they came out and started celebrating, then they heard gunshots. 3 or 4 rounds.

Times Now also reporting sporadic firing.. other channels saying it's over. I think it's very confused. NSG's may be just clearing the place perhaps [my question, not suggested by news reports]

Reports again say Nariman House encounter is over. The gunshots may have simply been a final mopping up operation. (I guess extra couple of bullets being pumped into the terrorists to see if there's still any life)

So if indeed, Nariman House is secured, that leaves the Taj hotel (old wing precisely) as the only place still seeing the fight.

Scenes of 100's of people.. crushed.. moving as a mass.. into the tiny streets around Nariman. It is beyond my ability to understand. How any security force can stabilise and area in that kind of madness ... crazy. I don't understand what they are there for.. what are they trying to see. This is not a Bollywood movie shoot!!

A huge crowd has assembled outside the Nariman House. Surely its over, there's no way the authorities would let hundreds mill over if there was any danger.
