I can't help but think.. they're still way undermanned... why didn't the army send .. you know, 5,000 people! It shouldn't take this long. Just a lot of people in a swoop operation. India has a VERY BIG army...

It was a tragic day, even though I am thousands of miles away, I can tell, it was extremely disturbing.

I went to work today and couldn't concentrate. Since coming home, I am glude to my tv and computer and I feel sick.

I better go and try to get some sleep. Hope all this is over when i wake up.

dead police chief

Is the chief of police / anti terrorist, the same policeman who i saw a report on cleaning up the gangs of Mumbai?
I'm just wondering if this is gangs joining up with terrorists to help each other.

They've got flood lights in now at Nariman house... I guess they're anticipating it continuing after the light goes down... which is happening as I write

uk is pissed off: reason: the terrorists were marking uk passport holders.
us is pissed off: 2 us intelligencia shot dead at the taj.
israel is pissed off: narima house - a jewish/israeli holding.

if it aint over soon - i can see the above 3 sending in their teams - wouldnt be surprised, if they've already arrived, and assisting.

the navy has intercepted a rogue boat somewhere in the arabian sea -
the boat suspected of having transported them terrorists to the mainland.

why mumbai?
its the nerve centre of india.
its the economic capital.
monies shut down - the country gets crippled.
besides, because of the milling population - its the ideal playground to cause any kind of havoc and chaos.

i really have to stop now.
too close to heart and home to maintain any semblance of reasoning.

Speechless, was booking my flight today - decided to still go through with it as tourism is going to take a major hit but costs of flights now through the roof, will keep watching, stay safe - just read through every page in one hit.

Il make it to India one day soon I hope.

They have hostages. Army is no use in a hostage rescue operation. NSG is trained for these kind of situations.
