Army has taken over as NSG has failed to get terrorists (did we cover that already? I am getting lost in all this!)

Hello

Hi everyone. I arrived Sunday and have been staying in Colaba.

I am okay.

Let me just say that if anyone has any friends/family in the area that they cannot get a hold of, feel free to e-mail me with anything that I may be able to help with SajnaniH@Gmail.com

Let me know if there is anything I can do.

We were at Leopold's last night and I took one to my leg. It wasnt a direct hit, but according to the people who helped me out, it looks like three or four bullets grazed me because my leg looks pretty bad. Aside from that, I am fine.

I will check in a little later, but things here are very hectic and crazy right now.

For those of you who have been to Colaba, right now it looks like MONTANA!!! There is ABSOLUTELY NOONE outside and even all the shops are closed. No taxis are around! Nothing! I'm still a little shook up so please excuse the frantic post.

Like I said, if any of you have any loved ones in the area and havent been able to get a hold of them or need to then just let me know what i can do. God bless you all and I will check in later on tonight.

Hope all the Mumbai IM'ers and their friends are OK?

Just spoken to a friend in Mumbai who tells me that there seems to be some last efforts to get them out of the hotels.

In the Trident there are 365 rooms to be searched... so they are gradually doing that... 4-5 terrorists still in the hotel. No actual engagement has taken place with them as yet.

This is so awful...even more so when you 'know' people who are there even if they are on-line friends.
Hope all who are there are going to be ok...and you too Desi.

OMG!!! DesiKurdi.... are you ok? Do you have people here to help you? Please.. if you need any help please let us know. OK??? Seriously. Thankyou for such calm words... not quite sure how you did it. You scared me a lot... but thankyou for telling us. Please let me know if there is anything my husband and I can do. Thinking of you and hoping you make a very quick physical and emotional recovery.

Peace and love

400-500 bystanders... they have finally kicked them out. I just don't even know what to say about that.

Only journalists allowed there now.

Army and Commando's now blocking all exits before the final assault is carried out.

The Mumbai Police chief reported Taj was safe more than an hour ago, that is obviously not the case as there seems to be ongoing confrontations.
