None taken, but its a HUB for many researchers to bring up to date news, sometimes FASTER than the major news channels will reveal.

I've found out more about the situation via that website than any other because already it has about 100+ links to the sitaution, more than the bbc or cnn or mumbaimirror.

Don't judge a book by its cover.

The terrorists… apparently arrived by sea with their explosives (their boat was later found by customs officers),…Foreigners and policemen appeared to have been the main targets. Though no guesses were made about the identities of the terrorists, eyewitnesses said some of them spoke Arabic, and included Nigerian or Somali mercenaries.

Just hope and pray that the mood of the public does not get carried away. This cowardly attack has been carried out and supported by a small fanatic minority.
Retributions after this horrific attack do not occur on innocent people. Would hate to see the city burning and rioting.

Middlesex Cricket club were due to fly out to Mumbai tomorrow morning for the 20/20 tournament. They have obviously cancelled. They were due to stay at the Taj hotel tomorrow night. How lucky are they.

Wasn't Vijay Salaskar one of the cops from the book Maximum City?

Wikipedia is often good at reporting such ongoing events yes, despite defacement attempts and whatnot, which normally get dealt with as quickly as they appear.

Try also WikiNews, I've had mixed results with it in the past, but for topics like these they can be worth it: http://en.wikinews.org/wiki/Multiple...jures_hundreds.

And yes, Mumbaikars & guests & visitors, still thinking of you all, I'm sure we all are.

updates from the police on ground - but nobody will come on cam to confirm

trident and oberoi are located next to each other
the street outside has no action
whatever is going on - is within them 2 hotels - out of sight
the only sound outside on the street - is of the gunfire inside
