Arrive late in Mumbai, Pune the next day

Hi there,
I'm looking for advice on a late arrival in Mumbai with a trip to Pune the next day. I'll be arriving Mumbai from London at 23:50. Last time I did this I had a driver pick me up directly from the airport and head to Pune. It was exhausting.

This time I'd like to stay in a hotel in Mumbai and take the train to Pune later in the afternoon the following day.

Any recommendations for where to stay i.e. near which train station? How to get there late in the evening?

Is this even feasible or should I just stay at the airport and head out for Pune from there?

Option 1 would be while your time in the terminal for some time. Catch a pre-paid taxi to Dadar Terminus and catch the Indrayani Express which leaves at 05:50 from Dadar to Pune. Advisable to pre-book the train ticket.

Option 2 would be to pre-book a hotel at Dadar. Reach hotel by pre-paid taxi. Take rest and catch a Volvo bus to Pune.
