Hi I am having trouble trying to find out some details about the airports in Mumbai. We are flying in to Mumbay from UK. via Paris, And we have to fly to Vishakapatnam (AP)I think we have to use different airports, I am trying to find out if there is a shuttle service, or how much I should expect to pay in a taxi, and Also whether there is a decent hotel near the domestic airport, which I think is the one in Santa Cruz RD.

same airport, different terminals, conveniently located on opposite sides of the runway. There is a shuttle service, but I havent ever used it and dont know much about it, sorry.
There are also 2 domestic terminals, with different airlines flying from each one, so you need to know what airline you are on, but it is clearly signed which is which. As for hotels, there are many ranging from 5 star down to budget ones. have a look at www.makemytrip.com or www.hotelsmumbaiindia.com. If you book into a hotel that is 3 star or above they will probably arrange to pick you up and drop you back at the airport. |

Mumabi To Visakhapatnam: Either Indian/Alliance Air or Sahara. Only these operate between the two. You have the info of terminals in the previous post.

There are two main airports in Mumbai both are called by the same name Chattrapati Shivaji International Airport though the terminals are numbered differently. The International Terminals are called 2A and 2C and the Domestic Terminals are called 1A and 1B. There is a free inter terminal shuttle service from both terminals to facilitate transfer from inside the airport without going out of the terminal building for passengers with onward journey tickets only. Ask for the free shuttle service from inside once you clear immigrations and customs in the international terminal. The shuttles leave every half hour or sooner depending on the passenger load. Hope this helps.
Cheers, Aadil.
