Thanks Peak for the image. it looks like they are not helium (or do they use hydrogen in India?) filled. I think it would be quite a task carrying around a large balloon that wants to drag in the ground.

Peak ..these are normal baloons filled with normal air..usually vendors fill it with their mouth...that means the air from their lungs is what they have in them...
When I was a kid they used to cost Rs.5/10 for these large baloons.. |

If ..... I said if they were helium filled(curry exhaust might do the same trick
