Women and child hospitals in PUNE

We are expecting a child. Can you recommend a good hospital for pre and post natal care? Can you give a ballpark figure of how much you expect to be paying?

Jehangir Apollo Hospital and Ruby Hall Clinic are among the better known Hospitals. They have luxurious rooms of Rs.3500+.

Hi,

You should try Gupte Hospital, we just had a baby two months ago , and recieved fabulous care at the hospital, for the 9 months of a slightly complicated pregnancy and also during the delivery of our child.

The hospital is located centrally in Deccan Gymkhana, They have a rudimentary website, www.guptehospital.com

At Gupte hospital, the cost of delivery it will be about Rs50,000, (1250USD).
This is with a C-section and week long hospital stay, and no insurance benefits.

Postnatal care is available through various good pediatricians around the city. There is one Dr. Anand Pandit on Ferguson college road in Pune, (Again in the Deccan area). He is amongst the best reputed child specialists in the city.

For emergency care I will look up some children's hospitals for you
