MeCasa it seems you'll be going through Nepal & not coming down. In case if u do happen to visit Pune it would be nice to see your goodies, learn from it & share with some of my not-so-catographic friendly friends. I also love maps but more like what they've in mapsof india. Btw some things gleaned from the carto talk :-

Mapsofindia does sell napel maps. As u're coming down to Delhi & if u're the buying the official (legal) way then you might get the indiamaps & maps of nepal at some good discount. Of course if you do come down to Pune the offer stands & not just for him whoever has the maps of India first. First come first served

[OT]Also if u're thinking of making them public domain, there are 2 ways, one would be the traditional webspace/site the second would be making a .torrent & uploading it. Why, simply because its doesn't make a hole in your site expenses. A good e.g would be http://orange.blender.org/download the orange movie which used bittorrent alongwith the traditional servers. If u check out the blog at http://orange.blender.org/ you'll find why it makes sense. They've given some interesting web statistics. Viral networking at its best

Instead of Koregaon Park look into Deccan,Prabhat Road,Model Colony area.You will get easily accomodation in 2000 to 3000 per month rent and deposit around 10000 which include sharing kitchen,tv,fridge,washing machine.Look for advertisements in local newspapers. You can go to epaper.timesofindia.com,pune edition and see advertisements in classified under paying guest accomodation.
