Help!

Hey - anyone who can help

I am moving to Pune, India with my partner for approx. 3 yrs
I would love to get into voluntary work with the children for a few months but have no idea how to go about it

I have seen websites where you can go on a "package" which includes flights, accomodation etc. but I won't require them as I will already be out there

Can anyone recommend any contacts/websites?

There are lots of places out there, there's us, but we're a long way from Pune (we're in Goa), but there are bound to be lots that are closer... Many you'll only probably find if you look around the locallity. Another idea would be to find the local government website, as it might list homes etc...

if you google "pune volunteering children", it throws up some possibilities...

though i would think landing up and then looking would be a better option. you can see what you would like to do, and also gauge which organisations are genuine, and which are businesses.
