Moving to Baroda...
I am moving to Baroda in August for a year for a fellowship. I lived in India for 8 months a few years ago during college but stayed in delhi and varanasi and never traveled to the west coast of the country. Now I'm wondering if I can get advice/suggestions/etc from anyone who knows Baroda or who has recently been there.
What kind of a city is it? As a young (24) white female, will I be able to go jogging? Are there particularly safe neighborhoods? If so, what are these? Are there good, cheap (veg) restaurants anyone can recommend? What about shops? How do people (especially young women) dress? What's the nightlife like? If anyone can help out with this (and related information,) please do! I would really appreciate it. Thanks! |

For majority of the night life is by MS University, INOX and Sursagar. But nothing like the SF and SJ. Let me know if you need more information.
