Hi Sunshine...

Welcome to A'bad :-)))

First thing before deciding on area of residence... can you let us know which area are you going to be working in....???

A'bad has grown a lot and the above would help in advising... also let me know your budget - are you going to stay on rent or buy a property - flat or bungalow .... etc etc etc.. :-)))

Hi I am an American that has been living in Ahmedabad for the past 13 months. I would be glad to help you. I know it is hard. I know of a few places to live. I just need to know the area and your budget. I will help anyway that I can. You can email me at reasa@selph.name.

well it depends on your budget. in general the area to the west of CG Road is better as east is rather congested and conservative. West is where the newer complexes and suburbs are. North tends to be industrial. let me know your budget and further details, lived there for three years --changes three houses during my stay!!
