Mom moving to Dharamsala

Hello,
I am planning on moving to Dharamsala in the next six months with my 7 year old daughter. Are there any decent schools that I can look into for her? I was considering the option of home schooling her, But would much rather have her in a school where she can meet other children her age and make friends

There are so many boarding schools at Dharamshala & near to Dharamshala,some schools from janaury & some from 1st april starts their admissions,here Tibetian school is also very good.

Best one is : Sacred Heart High school in Sidhbari

Others are : Gurukul
AADHUNIK PUBLIC SCHOOL in Sidhbari
St. Mary's High School, Sidhbari


There are many more small schools.

TCV's are good in Upper Dharamsala ie. McleodGanj

A non-Tibetan kid would never be admitted to one of the Tibetan Children's Village schools. One of my friends (a Tibetan) is an instructor at the Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts and even he couldn't get his kid into the Upper TCV school in McLeod Ganj because they're so over-subscribed with kids from Tibet whose parents send them to India for an education in the Tibetan schools there. He ended up sending his kid to boarding school in Mussoorie.
