India in the autumn and winter

Hi, I am planning to be in India for about 4 months from the end of September. I run a small business in the UK and US, but love to travel and my job allows me to do this if I have my laptop, internet and electricity. I'm from the UK.

I haven't decided where to base myself yet.

While I am there, I'd also like to get some websites coded and put together but really don't want to have to base myself in a huge city to find some techie talent.

My wishlist would include:

non-crazy climate (autumn/winter).
low cost of living
decent/reliable internet (so I can Skype) with reliable electricity
some local tech talent

Can anyone suggest anywhere?

Hmm, depending on your humidity preferences, Coimbatore and Pondicherry come to mind.

Coimbatore looks interesting. I usually live on the coast (UK, US, Japan) but this limits daily excursions to 180 degrees and I'd love to rent a motorbike while I am there. Coimbatore also seems to have a fairly good infrastructure too.

Thanks for the heads up!

How crazy is crazy, climate-wise? Pondicherry would ne much the same as Chennai, which, in December, is on the cooler side of very hot
