Decent Residential & food options around Infosys (Chandigarh)?

I have been transferred to Chandigarh (Infosys).
Need information on residential areas with all basic amenities (Electricity(24x7),Water,Inter net etc.)nearby Infosys SEZ office.

As of now i am single and would like to know about the daily food options available in Chandigarh(e.g. PG accomodation, mess options).
Transportation is not a problem as i have my own vehicle (Karnataka registration). So, the priority would be good, safe and clean residential areas.
Also, What is the procedure to change the vehicle registration from karnataka to chandigarh (Punjab, Haryana) ?

The residential areas in close vicinity to Infosys SEZ Chandigarh office are:

1. Rail Vihar apartments / Army flats - both in MDC Sector-4 (1.5 km from Infy office)

2. MDC Sector-4 Independent houses (1 to 1.5 km from Infy)

3. Group Housing socities (GHs) in MDC Sector-5 (3 km from Infy)

4. Modern Housing Complex

5. NAC

6. Panchkula Sector 6,7,8, 17, 18 etc -> 5-6 km from Infy

You have very decent residential areas at above localities with all amenities available nearby.

Get your bike when you come and it will be easier for house hunting. You can get many shared acco options from Infy BB. Avoid any broker.
