Welcome to IndiaMike. I would suggest having a look also at this site's standing cautionary thread, Women/Men looking for travel partners.

VJ14 welcome to Indiamike, I am sure you'll get all most all the information you need here, but its not a good idea to ask people to contact you , either on this forum or any other!

And when you find Peace please tell her I want to meet her too, and that I've been looking for her all my life. And if you can courier a few pieces of Peace to me, I'll pay any price you ask!

May Peace find you!

She was in Chennai up to about five years ago, and then moved back to Thiruvanamali. I'm afraid we've lost touch since then. I don't know what became of them: they were quite elderly.

Peace was very sweet. Unusual name for a dog, though...

Had to create ID on this forum because of you Gurrrrrr
Anyways,
Dehradun is a small place but growing out of its edges
To get a place you need to first give me details on where you wanna work
and where you wanna study.
It might not be appropriate for you to give them here in that case either
mail me or leave only the name of locations.
And yes Dehradun is yet peaceful though not as much as it was.

Regards,
Vicky Biswas

I dont know what you mean about students. Race Course is good, Minto Rd is good, Neighborhoods past Doon school off Chakrata Rd is good.

oh thanks really ) i will be giving entrance exam for garhwal university in august. Then in september i will come to know my college name. So during those two months i want to know about good hostels for girls with mess facility. I prefer it should be centrally located where general shopping market is available. I have no idea about areas of doon so help me out.
And job is a secondary thing now. I will look for it after getting settled.

Primer about Areas
Majorly 4 sides from towncenter (Ghantaghar)
Chakrata road
Rajpur Road
Haridwar Road and
Saharanpur Road
All have various self sufficient townships
I live in one called Prem Nagar which lies near to a big number of colleges
I would not have time but would request Mom to get you contact detail for a hostel with mess in Prem Nagar as she might know someone.
Will need a couple of day and will post you the data.

Thanks

Regards,
Vicky Biswas

Now with your photo on your profile, I am sure you'll have enough people trying to contact you, (even though you aren't as pretty as I am ). And if you give your contact details to everyone you'll definitely have a lot of peace,I am sure!
