where rent an apartment ? powai or navi mumbai

hello friends

Me and My wife will be moveing to mumbai ,as my job place will be in vikroli , so could you plz suggest any safe and nice area to rent a flat, someone told me about powai and navi mumbai. so which would be better option?

If its Vikhroli, where you are gonna work then Powai is the place to stay ofcourse (Navi Mumbai will be too far away) and look up on Google Maps the distance between the two, depending on where your work is in Vikhroli, by a Cab it could be just as a 15 minute travelling one side.
Btw Navi Mumbai is way cheaper than Powai, but Powai with its very-very decent Residencies and the area surrounding (Which you are bound to love and unlike anywhere in Mumbai) makes up for the price you pay and also its cheaper compared to many other suburbs in Mumbai.

You could stay in Powai or vikhroli or ghatkopar or Mulund.... all of these places would suit your work location of Vikhroli... it depends on your budget...

Navi mumbai is further away and unless you have your own set of wheels commuting by train would be a hassle.

yes.. navi mumbai is bit far from Vikhroli compared to powai.. but again you can get a 1BHK flat in Navi mumbai(try to get a flat in Airoli or Vashi) for around 8-12k/month.... wheras it will cost 20-25k/month in Powai... safety wise there is not much of a difference between the two...
If price is affordable then definitely go for Powai...
