second hand furniture?

Hi, I've just moved into a semi furnished flat and need to get some pieces of furniture like a sofa etc. Does anyone know where i could get second hand furniture? Have looked in markets but it all seems quite expensive still (we are skint having had to stump up a large deposit for our flat) thanks

Along SV Road, if you go from Andheri Station West towards Jogeshwari you'll find an entire market of furniture, new, old and everything in between. Quality is not the best and bargaining is expected.

Also at Bandra Station West when you head from Lucky Biryani towards the station, you'll find a few shops on your left.

Good Luck

Used furniture

Hi,

There are people who roam the streets buying and selling used furniture. I don't know what they're called, but I've seen them pushing around a hand cart saying they'll buy used furniture. Maybe you can ask one of them what used furniture they've collected through the day and if they're willing to sell any of it.

I just realized, that I have a friend who is moving out of her apartment by the end of this month (March) and is looking to get rid of her furniture. Let me know if you're interested, and I'll put you in touch.

Good luck!

I am shifting to new flat (near goregaon) which has no furniture. Security deposit for the flat has sucked up all the cash I had and must settle with used furniture. Below are my requirements

1)1 double bed
2)1 single bed
3)2 cupboards
4)1 dressing table
5)1 dining table for 3-4 people.

please suggest where can I find the best in least prices.
