Pune vs Mumbai

Hi everyone... keen to hear people's thoughts on my dilema

I'm looking to start an ecommerce business in India (build up to 25 people) and my girlfriend is looking to source low cost clothes manufacturers for babieswear.

Originally we had thought about Kerela (Trivandrum or Kochi) as they seemed like nice places to live close to the beach, ie lifestyle and business. Since then people have said Kerela is more of a backwater from a business p.o.v , and also has lots of rain and mosquitoes!!!

1. So now we are looking at Mumbai vs Pune.... What are the variations in salary and living costs between the two?

2. There is no need for my business to be set up in the city, a suburb close to a train station/metro is fine... are there cheaper suburbs in Mumbai that are nice to live in, where we could both live and also set up the business???

3. OR are we better to look at Pune?

4. What are the climate differences?

would be keen to hear people's opinions

Mumbaii is more expensive and less livable. The climate in Pune is better though not as good as it once was..

pune is far cheaper than mumbai... at the same place pune is becoming a hub for IT especially being close to mumbai .. it is having a great influence though not that much..

Climate is good in pune... atleast compared to anywhere in north india..

above all.. i think it will be better if you do some research regarding the work/business you have to do
