Planning to move to Navi Mumbai, Vashi
Hi,
I am planning to take up a job in Navi Mumbai, Vashi. Can u pls guide me on the rates for a single BHK flat for rent? I am looking for an accommodation for about Rs.6000 to Rs.8000/- Will I get one? or do I need to pay more. Also I am looking for a good, decent ICSE school for my kid who is 5yrs. Any idea what the schooling charges would be? Could u please give me a list of good ICSE schools in the area?

A 1 BHK flat in Vashi will be tough to find between 6-8K. I would suggest that you find one either in Sanpada or Koperkhairne. Both these places are glue to Vashi like Siamese twins, but are considerably less expensive. If you like, I could suggest you a reliable broker in Sanpada. But, be prepared to pay a 11 month term deposit (calculate that as 11 months rent paid in advance)to the owner.
As far as schools are concerned, There is Ryan in Sanpada, Father Agnels, Sacred Heart, St. Lawrence in Vashi and Apeejay in Nerul (not too far off from Vashi) and DAV in Seawoods (a little further off from Nerul).
