Mumbai: Salons/Stylists with Experience with African-American Hair?

Hi:

My family is moving to Mumbai from NYC this coming January. We are very excited about the move, but I am becoming increasingly concerned that I will not be able to find anyone or anyplace to get my hair done. I wear my hair in a very short Afro without any chemical relaxers. In the off chance that anyone has any insights or recommendations, I greatly would appreciate them!

There are a lot of Southerners with very curly hair, though maybe not as curly as yours, it's a start.

Or let your hair grow long .. the weight will pull the kink and curl out of it!

You may find African students in Mumbai; very often, in universities campus, there are African women making braids to earn some pocket money.
