Many expats are members of the Breach Candy Club - contact them to find out about expat associations.

To become a member of the Breach Candy Club you have to be an extremely wealthy person. I doubt the average expat who is connected to the call centre industry is a member of the Breach Candy club.

Just curious: whom do you count as ex-pats? All non-Indians? Nepalis? Africans? Chinese? Americans? Eurpoeans? Indonesians? Afghans? I suspect Mumbai has people from every country on the planet...

i think expats fall under non-indian (ethnically) category. Say Europeans, Chinese, Jews from Israel, etc.

Indians who migrated aboard are NRI and Indians born else where are IPOs. Even if they move back to India, not sure if they go under expat category :-)

Correct me if i am wrong.

i suspect that is true also.. just like every other city on the planet..

and i meant all non-indians, which is what i thought the term expat meant..

That's not true. Membership costs roughly $1500 per person per year . Most expats can afford such a membership. The club is a very liberal easy going place, not nearly as snobby as a lot of other clubs in the city.

I wouldn't be surprised though if the non expats who are members of the club most likely either have to be very rich or inherit their memberships. But the average upper middle class expat manager can definitely fit in there.

Arabs from Israel or non-Jews from Israel don't count?

I am a ninth generation Indian outside of India. I will be expating in India and had to go through the entire visa process. No doubt you can be an expat of Indian origin.
