M.A. in Social Work? Tata Institute for Social Sciences (TISS?)

Though a Masters degree would be much preferable at entry level, and maybe for rising up the food chain within an organisation much later, decent experience, and, more importantly, reputation , often discounts this to a great extent.

hey this seems like an old thread but anyone still uses it then please reply..
i am graduate in computers and have no prior knowledge about social work but the idea of an MSW has really caught my attention and i would really love to apply for it.. i am preparing for my CAT, XAT and all and just would like to get some queries out of the way.. im not certain if MBA is the right path for me.

all i want to know is are there other people from the IT fields in the batch and weather social workers make enough for themselves as well... by enough i mean as per the need and not the greed!!! and if someone could put some light on the field of labour studies and globalization and also about social entrepreneurship
