Infrastructure: drivers, nannies, etc.
We are moving to Mumbai in June. Theres been much discussion about housing (I am still trying to find a suitable 3BHK) but I am hoping you can help me with other dimensions of infrastructure.
We are looking for a nanny/governess to help with our twin 4 year olds in South Mumbai. The hope is that we can find someone who speaks good English and is aware of expat sensibilities with respect to hygiene, early education, nutrition, discipline, etc. This is primarily a moms-helper situation rather than complete care. I am sure several of you have gone through the search process; so any tips on where to find them will be appreciated. Next, I am looking for a good driver to cart our family around Mumbai so if anybody has a good reference I would love to hear from you. English speaking is less important since we do ok with regional languages but it is a nice to have so the kids can get a word in as well. Again, where do I find them? Thanks |
