Being in Mumbai

Hi all,

I'll be moving to Mumbai as well. I've heart so much about Mumbai..and it might seems a litte silly to post here - I just need a last impulse from everyone in this forum. Just in a few words, how would you characterize living in Mumbai?
Cheers,
Danny

Which part of the city you are going to stay. Frankly lot depends on that as well.

All the best and welcome to Mumbai!

I second that.

Maximum city deals mostly with the dark underbelly of the city, but it does indeed have bits where the author describes moving into the city and the difficulties he encounters in adjusting there. It's a fascinating book. Highly recommended; it gave me an alternative, in-depth perspective on Bombay...

The book would be in more than a few words, though, and not my own

Forget all the books.... just come to Bombay! For all you know, by the end of your stay, you may be the author of a prize-winning book on Bombay
