Please Help Me - Need shiping information - Moving to Kolkata, India

Hello, I am relocating to India, Kolkata on January 16th. As per
airlines rule I can only take 32kgs per box As the airlines
allow two box only...so I got a problem, because I have more
stuffs (like lot of extra clothes, toys etc) to ship. I have
already contacted UPS, Fedex...but they are asking lot of money
for the shipping. I will have total 6 boxes (60 lbs each).
Please someone help me out and please let me know where to
contact....

Stop looking at couriers and start looking at international movers, shipping agents and so on.

Couriers are for getting small amounts of stuff to their destinations fast! They are expensive; prohibitively so for large things.

You're probably going to have to wait for it to come by sea, though.

Try not to do what I did, and end up deciding you might as well bring the whole houseful!

Have you tried the airline you are travelling with? Ship it as freight.

That is not a lot you can put all the boxes in a single pallet and shrink wrap them and you should get a decent price quote from one of the shipping agents. For further information on shipping you can check out the following site http://www.movingscam.com/

This is indeed a small amount of luggage. You might also try freight consolidators/forwarders. Being in Philadelphia, if someone can drive to area around JFK to deliver the package(s) to the consolidator offices - you can save a good bit of money and have a clear idea (flight routing) as to when the packages get there. It is not as far fetched as it might sound - as I've personally done this (quite a few years back) and it was very simple, cheap and satisfactory.
