Just moved to Kolkata
Hi, my name is Eamon and i have recently moved to Kolkata. i am a management advisor volunteering with VSO, a UK based international development organisation. I am working in the field of HIV interventions.
i was wondering if there are any regualar expat events? i am living near Gariahart (excuse the spelling). Any advice on social events would be greatly appreciated. Eamon |

Welcome to IM & Calcutta! Can't say about expat activities, but as far as cultural/social dos are concerned, you can check the listings page on t2, the daily lifestyle supplement of The Telegraph. It usually has a pretty comprehensive and accurate list of what's going on around town. Also check this out: http://www.seagullindia.com/samrc/samrchome.html. Good place to hang out, if you love world cinema and other arty stuff. Cheers
