We Have Finally Arrived In Hyderabad - Security Checks

We arrived several days ago originating in the U.S. The worst part of our 36hr trip over was going through security in Atlanta GA U.S.A. They were rude, mean and just down right nasty. The female TSA agent who was checking our passports kept demanding that our 4yr old girl tell her her age. She is extremely shy with strangers. She kept telling her that her mommy and daddy would have to leave her in the airport if she did not respond by the time we got past her my little one was in tears. I just wanted to smack her but of course did not since I wanted to make the flight and not be arrested. In both Dubai and Hyderabad the security agents were very nice and accommidating. Especially with our children. We have 5 ranging from 13yrs to 3yrs. The air lines we took were Airtran, Delta & Emirates. I will never fly Airtran again or take Delta internationly. We had excellent service with Emirates. They were very nice and had some nice things for the kids to play with. So far we are enjoying our selves. The hotel is nice and the food is great. Although I can not wait for our housing accommidations to be ready so we can get moved and settled in.

Thanks Peregrine

TSA seems to making a sick joke out of the process of getting in and out of USA.

Isn't that precisely why Air New Zealand began a new London-Auckland service via Hong Kong a couple of years ago? Too many passengers were refusing to fly via Los Angeles, which is their traditional routing. Even transit passengers are subjected to the "hospitality" of the TSA.

TSA is a paragon of virtue compared to the guys we have to go through when we come in on ships. It isn't funny.

Some sailors refuse to work on ships going to the US for many reasons; this is one of the smallest ones.

An anti-tourist agency. If it makes anyone feel better they treat domestic passengers the same way. I avoid flying except for major reason now..

Welcome to Hyderabad. I agree, Emirates has been the best (for me) airline for international flights by far.

I hope you enjoy your stay here.
