moving in january
Hi there! I'm looking for a place near Dwarakapuri Colony, Punjagutta as I will start working nearby. Any idea? I was told that 9000 is enough for a 2BHK. Is it possible to find a place in advance?
Please let me know!!!![]() |

saulteaux women,
the properties you have searched are in dwarka in Delhi .The OP has asked for advice for punjagutta in hyderabad. I have doubts whether 9000 will be enough for a decent non furnished 2BHK in punjagutta area - this is not a residential area and is bang in the middle of the city. you may search for flats in Banjara hills(good residential area near punjagutta). but I doubt you will get a decent 2BHK for 9000. Budget for atleast 12000 to 15000. For some basic idea you can look into www.magicbricks.com and www.99acres.com |

and what about...?
Hi guys,
I still haven't found a place, what about a single BHK? As long as it is near the area is ok, it doesn't have to be exactly in punjagutta. Let me knowww... Thanx |

Like I said in my post -
have you looked into the banjara hills postings in magicbricks and 99 acres. Mind you, this is only meant to give you a basic idea and not for you to hire a house outright from this ads. Donot expect to find a house without looking at it. The ideal situation would be that you come to hyderabad, stay in a hotel/guesthouse for 2 weeks, look into the weekend classified property ads in "Deccan chronicle" newspaper, contact a few brokers and finally zero-in on a house. One BHK houses are not common in hyderabad. Last edited by nayan : Dec 13th, 2008 at 10:57. Reason: typo |

sunday classified of Deccan Chronicle (DC) is the best option to find suitable rental property....
look at their e-paper version for some idea before you land up in Hyderabad http://www.dc-epaper.com/DC/DCH/2008/12/12/index.shtml

Are you still looking for a place? I am from Hyderabad and I can tell you that you can definitely get a nice 2 bdroom apt in Sri Nagar Colony (just 2 km from Panjagutta) for 10-11k. It would be cheaper if you are looking for a long term stay. Please look at Deccan Chronicle and Times of India ads for house rentals. Good thing with HYD is that you can get houses easily. Let me know if you need any help. Harsha |

There are some apartments in Dwarkapuri colony right upto where the road meets Banjara Hills; some are quite presentable and are in the quieter bylanes. For 9k, a 2 bedroom apartment seems a little unlikely. Close to everything- work, shopping and entertainment. But almost in the heart of the city, so can be crowded.
You can look around in one of the quiet lanes there, that is what I would do first. If you don't like the area, you can look elsewhere in the closer parts of Banjara Hills, Somajiguda or Begumpet, which are nearby.
