Maybe moving to Hyderabad from UK in January
Hi everyone ....
My husband & 1 are moving for 18 months to Hyderabad with our 2 children (9 & 7 yrs old) and I have a ton of questions to ask those expats already in Hyderabad, so i hope you don't mind sharing your knowledge with me .... 1) Does anyone know anything about the International School of Hyderabad? e.g. how well does it teach the British children who have been taught the National Curriculum in UK - and are they able to easily slot back into it on their return to Britain or are they really far behind? 2) Also, does anyone know of any good private tutors in Hyderabad specialising in the British National Curriculum who teach children after school? 3) is it advisable to take the probiotics i have been reading about before visiting/living in Hyderabad to help prevent diarrhoea related illnesses? Are the Brits subject to Delhi Belly?? 4) How easy is it to adapt to living there? Are there any issues/concerns i should be aware of? 5) Has anyone brought animals back in to the UK (via EU) without having to quarantine them - obviously giving them rabies jabs first aswell as UK pet passport etc There are many more questions that i have, but i will post them another time i think. Thank you in advance ![]() Mod note : Thread moved to Moving to hyderabad forum |

Don't think you'll definitely get ill often though, it's not inevitable. ![]() Quote:
Checking out a few threads on the expat forums will give you an idea. Quote:

sure, you can use tap water for washing utensils, you get big cans of mineral water, you can rinse the utensils if you have any second thoughts,

I know, its a real worry. I was talking to the nurse yest reg the swine flu vaccine for children and when it is expected to be implemented, and as yet they have no idea .... they are prioritising those over 65yrs - even though they have not been affected by it in the same way s kids. Good eh?!! i'm sure there's some logic in it somewhere???
