Hi there,
Well, it is almost a week back that I arrived in Hyderabad. Wow, a lot of traffic Anyway, we moved into a nice big flat, with nice playground for the children and everything, like it very much, however, I would like to get an independent house/villa in a gated community. I know there must be hundreds of them, and as I am still new in town, can anybody give me advice on where to start looking for a place to stay, that is not toooo expensive, but it must be furnished as well. Maybe something between 30k - 40k a month??Do I need to go to an estate agent or can I just look in the paper? My husband is working at an office in Hi-Tech City, so anything in a radius of 10km will do. Any advice, please?? Thanx! Letitia |

Hello,
i am born and brought up in hyderabad , if you want an independent villa near Hi-Tech city its better u search in the area of Gachibowli,Miyapur there it costs you around 10K-20K dont go to any estate agent they charge from you heavily, even i work at Hi-Tech city, but i stay around 25 KM from Hi-tech, if you want you will get an Independent villa here for 5K to 10K, But he need to start from here before. if you search in the area jubilee hills it costs you 30K-50K please let me know if i can help you. |

Sorry Somsathi... but 10K to 20K will get you a 2 or 3 bedroom apartment in gachibowli/miyapur/kondapur area...... just forget about a villa in a gated community.
For a fully furnished independant house/villa in this area you may have to pay much more than 40,000. 1. your husband can talk to his colleagues to see if they have any leads available. 2. look into sites like magicbricks.com and 99acres.com .... they have lots of listing of such properties for rent. |

thanx Nayan, Somsathi,
I have read somewhere that the adds on the internet is more expensive and that you must rather look in the local newspapers for adds. What local newspaper will have the biggest selection of properties? ![]() |

Hi Mehnaz,
You can try Whisper Valley, it is a very nice gated community. Nice big houses and safe for the kids to play in. Rolling Hills also very nice, but there is still alot of construction going on there (the last time I saw it) Hillridge Villa's also very nice and then there is a new community, I have not been there myself, it is called Indu Fortune Fields. Hope this helps ![]() |
