Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad

I plan on moving to Hyderabad, my other post explains why.

I am just wondering what a good price for a 1 bedroom apartment/flat would be in Jubilee Hills, and if living outside the actual neighborhood will cost less, and by how much?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Not too many one bedroom flats there, as far as I know.

Unfurnished, less than 10k monthly, I would think.

Furnished, twice that, if decently.

Living elsewhere will cost less, it is one of the more expensive areas. By how much? Tough q, depends on what kind of apartment, but 10/20% less, at least.

Shoot me a PM when you get here, gronk. My boss has a lot of property in the area and maybe there's something in your price range.

Speaking of Jubilee Hills... I'm temporarily living in the Film Nagar Cultural Center hotel. I've done a fair amount of walking around the neighborhood. Haven't found a place to sit down and have a beer and a blether. Does such a place exist in my area or should I be taking an auto (sp? -- the tuk tuk vehicles)to Banjara Hills or elsewhere? Love my job, love the people I work with. But the hotel room at night is getting a little dry.

Will do, I'm going to need all the help I can get finding a place.

I also need to find such a place, in addition to a place to live, see you there.

Most of the pubs and such are in the Banjara Hills/Begumpet belt.

(Sorry for this standardized response): New members do not have the PM (Private Messaging) function yet, neither to send nor receive. It takes a certain nr. of posts + period of membership.

You could create a free disposable webmail address for the purpose, then post it here. Or discuss what you need on the board. Be aware anyone could contact you on that address pretending to be the other. Posting your private email address is not advised, for all the obvious reasons.
