Methanol?

I know this may be a strange question and was at a bit of a loss as to where to ask it!...i thought the expats may have an idea so....!

Does anyone know if you can buy methanol in Goa?...if so...where? and does it go by the same name...bless you if you can answer!!

A half litre is normally all I need to get quite merry.

Why do you need methanol? For some kind of cooker?
If its for cooking, I once bought cheap kerosene cooker from market in Mapusa and used it for cooking for some time until i got too lazy and ate again beach shacks.

Half a litre methanol and you are merry in Kingdom Come. Even less is lethal. Smaller doses will make you blind.

LOL...very funny guys!!!...no..i won't be drinking it...or cooking with it!...I add 'flame dyes' ( the flame is then colored green or red)...then i dip my poi in it and set fire to them...the idea being that i then twirl them and dance about in what i hope is an entertaining manner without setting fire to myself!!
