how to get your own shop in one of the markets in goa

I have a dream about opening my own shop (clothes) at the Anjuna wedsday-market, and the nightmarked/saturdaymarked (forgot the name of the saturday/nightmarket, but it is the one in Baga. I think the brain behind the concept is a germen guy...think he is called something similar to Ringo!)
I want to know if it is enough to have the money to open up your own shop, or do you need to know some ekstre rules. I know I need a visa, but what kind of visa? I dont want to stay in india/goa all year, I just want to stay from october to marts.
I also guess I need to contact some people who have connections to the market so I can pay them for "rent" at the market. But I have no clue who to contact or how who I can ask for advice.
I know it is a difficult mission, but I will give it my best and hope that my drea, will come true.
Hope someone can help me.

Good, but sadly very out-of date information.
Ingo has had absolutely nothing to do with the market for the whole of the 2008-9 season. At present he is stuck in Germany as he has been refused a visa to return to India.
The web-site is his and therefore has nothing to do with the present functioning market.
For Anjuna and the night market the normal procedure is to be around in Goa in the weeks before they start up, and just go along and sort out your pitch then.
Please remember that to comply with Indian law you need a business visa, but "Catch-22" you are unlikely to get one on the strength of running a market stall in Goa. Most foreigners do not have one and just chance it, but one day the police will clamp down on this (they keep on threatening). This will probably result in a lot of deportations!
