guitar players in north goa
I'm looking for someone who will meet with me a few times to teach me some songs, that's all. I've already got a great teachers who is doing a good job of teaching me guitar and music theory from the beginning, but he is going by the book. I just want to learn a few songs to play at bbqs.
I already know all the chords in the songs and can transition between them. I have a copy of the songs I want to learn on my computer, but the tabs don't show the strumming pattern. I just need a guitar player to listen and figure out the strumming for me then show it to me. I know that most people who play a guitar can do this by ear, but that part of my brain is missing I think. So for example, let's say I want to learn a Dylan song that is all C, G, and D. I can play all three chords and I know the song. You just show me how to strum it, and I pay you. Next time, we do a different song. They are fairly simple songs, older American standards like Johnny Cash, Robert Johnston, Carter Family, that sort of thing. I'm a slow learner. If you can do this, please PM me here with your contact info and how much you'd charge. I'm in Candolim but can travel a little. We'll meet in public of course! ![]() Last edited by carlaeb : Dec 19th, 2008 at 21:18. Reason: typos |
