Goa
is it safe for a single woman to stay there? I mean for a couple of months

Treat Goa the same as you would anywhere else.
Do not travel alone during darkness, get a Taxi and dont go off with ANYONE,just don't trust anyone. There have been several high profile instances of ladies being attacked and murdered in Goa. Dont let me put you off, Goa is awesome, very laid back and a cheap holiday destination.
