Costs of living in Goa, India

Hi, hope everyone is well?
Can anyone tell me about additional costs involved in owning in Goa? are the property taxes? Can I arrange property and contents insurance? How about other costs I have not thought about, like electrcity, water etc?
Any help you can provide is more than appreciated!

A friend of mine stayed in Benaulim in a 2 bedroom flat, with a maid, for $120 a month through the high season... for 6 months. Utilities were cheap. Food is about a dollar a meal.
