Hi Suprio,
While I don't know details on fees etc though I'm positive they have a website where you might get such details I know a lot of folks who have studied there/their children are studying there currently. Its a good school. Unlike the DPS's its more organic in terms of education - lots and lots of activities for the kids in school and exposure to other fields outside of school. The children I've met from there seem happy, confident and smart. They have regular school bus services for students in south delhi. How old is your daughter? Their junior school is actually in vasant vihar (i think upto class 4/5). Again not sure whether they have an IB option or are affiliated to one of the Indian Boards i.e. CBSE or ICSE. When I was teaching I came across some IB schools in Delhi and for all their airconditioning options I found really they don't have very much to offer in terms of quality education :-) The older international schools such as British School, American School are much much better and located in South Delhi. All schools in Delhi open up admission processes around October/November and given the large number of applicants for few prestigious schools you will need to be on top of the whole thing. I've heard that Sriram always has a long waiting list. Another school like Sriram is Sanskriti. It is run my ex-bureacrats and has a reputation of following informal teaching methods. Hope this is of some help. Good luck to you! |

Thanks Mrinmoyee for the info. My daughter is seeking admission in year 12 in IB diploma. Sriram Gurgaon is an IB school. British school is also an option but it is costly- beyond my budget. If Sriram offers good education I would prefer it. As you know most of the schools offering IB are new, including Sriram. But Sriram (ICSE) has good reputation and maybe their IB is good as well. If not I have no option but British School. The info I am seeking about Sriram Gurgaon is not on their web site. If anyone can give me a link to a Sriram IB parent I'll be most grateful.

Sriram School is a good choice. I had interacted with many students, I feel they work too much on the extra curriculum leanings, an essential these days.

Hi there,
My elder son goes to Shriram in Gurgaon. They definitely offer IB and have an ICSE Board. Getting addmission might not be easy. Shriram enjoys a great reputation and is one of the better schools in the Delhi NCR. Good luck. Nick. |
