Residential area near Okhla Ind. Phase III

Dear All,

I got a job in a organization which has office in Okhla Ind. phase III. I would be in Delhi in next month. I would be staying in for about a year in Delhi. And would be staying alone.

I want to know about the residential areas near to my office place. And what could be the approx. monthly rent, area wise?

There are two types of Area...On one end you have very Upmarket and most expensive localities of Delhi and on the other end is lower middle class area...

Probably your budget would be a major factor in choice you make.

Can you please provide me the names of areas, which you are mentioning? And it would be very helpfull, if you could help me with generic approx. rent for 1 BHK/RK kind of house, in both type of areas.

East of Kailash, Greater Kailash, Greater Kailash 2, Lajpat Nagar, Chitranjan Park are the first names that come in my mind..however there are others as well...

In cheaper options the only name I recall immediately would be Govind Puri, Some areas of Kalkaji ...

I cannot give you an estimate in those areas...however other members would soon be letting you know !!

In Kalkaji area it will be around 5 to 6 thousand pm and around 8 thousand in Chittaranjan park.
