Question on Commuting time

Hi,

I'll be relocating to Delhi shortly for work. My office is in Connaught place (next to Park hotel). I'm exploring housing options in Jaganpura and Lajpat Nagar.

I'd like to know what the travel time between CP and Jaganpura 1 or lajpat nagar 2 would be during peak times-- via auto or motorcycle.

You may take the route LJP Ngr - Nehru Stadium - Khan Market - India Gate - CP.

This shall take around 25-30 minutes in peak traffic.

Thanks for the quick response!

I'd like to know on other thing: whats the typical auto fare from Lajpat 2 to CP?

The reason is ask is I'm evaluating whether i should bring my beloved Enfield Bullet with me to Delhi from Chennai?

I figured I'd manage with autos for the few months and figure out if the traffic/heat/pollution is bearable to ride my motorcycle there. It's gonna be hard leaving my bull behind :/

The Auto fare should be around Rs. 50. However, bringing your bike is highly recommended, despite the traffic & pollution and Delhi Heat should be non issue for a chennaite.

Without your own vehicle, you'll feel highly handicapped in Delhi.

And Traffic on this stretch after Nehru Stadium will be lighter. Very soon you'll find some shortcuts also.
