pre-school/ daycare for 1 year old in South Delhi

Hi there,

we are as we speak on a fact-finding in Delhi & Gurgaon. So far we prefer Vasant Vihar over Gurgaon. We have a baby-daughter who will be approx 15 months by the time we move here.

Anyone been in this situation? we had hoped to find intl/epxat day-care/ creche / pre-school facilities but don't really seem to get finger on the pulse on how it works here.

Back home we have a nanny, but she now has the age to start playing with others. Plus, we think it'll be a good way to meet others in a similar situation.

I just replied to your other thread re sports.
Guess your daughter is a bit young for a cricket academy!!
There is a group called Delhi Babes [tried to Google for a link but guess what came up??] which is for parents with young children
Delhi Network will be able to tell you.
Go to their office at The Hyatt, a.m only, when you get here to get all the info

We are quite sportive and would like to raise our daughter with some form of regalur physical exercise, too. Either it be horsback riding, hockey or tennis, ballet I don't care. Running and jumping around usually is big fun for children, right?

will check out the Hyatt. We are now aiming on Vasant Vihar. we've seen some daycare facilities in Gurgaon and one in Delhi but we could not really relate to them

Maybe British or American schools have facilities, too. We have an au pair now, but she's ready for playing with other kids and very inquisitive towards other toddlers.
