need details reg delhi shimla manali tour

I am chitra from bangalore
we are planning to come to delhi shimla manali tour from jan 23rd to jan30th for 1 week tour - we are around 6-8 people coming

Is it okay if we come at that time - snow fall will be there no at that time?v want to enjoy the snowfall
If snow fall is there will the roads be okay for travelling?
which are best tourist places to be seen in shimla & manali for 2 days each - do we need 4 days for both?
Is there any other places near by delhi or shimla to see
because v have kept 2 days for delhi
which is the cheap & best hotel to stay in both the places?
Is kullu in the centre of both shimla and manali?
Is it okay if we hire a vehicle from delhi itself & cover all the places
please help me out

1----chitra it depends on your luck that during that time snowfall will be there or not ..but chances are very high .

2----road condition depends on weather but most likely road will be open.. and 2 days each is enough..

3----near delhi you can visit agra and fatehpur sikri and near shimla you can visit chail and sangla...

4----so much of budget hotel in shimla and manali no need to worry about.. yes kullu is almost center place of shimla and manali..

5----yes it will be ok for you to hire taxi from delhi because it will give a flexibility to take photograph on the way ...

thank you Mr.Vikram spending ur time & giving me useful information -
along with shimla and manali v have planned to see few places in delhi, agra ,if possible haridwar also
so can u please suggest me which places can we see first and then accordingly -
as v are coming from bangalore from train as there is a stop in agra can v see that first then come to delhi - see the places there , then go to shimla and then to manali - while returning do we get hardiwar - or do we have to come to delhi and then go to haridwar . Other wise is there any place on the way to see while returning to delhi from manali

and also is it okay if we book the hotel in january itself when we come to shimla and manali or do we have to book early from bangalore itself?

Do not worry about hotels in Shimla n Manali. You will get plenty of options. And this is best time to visit Shimla n Manali. The chances are fair that you could witness the snow fall.
Also, if you are planning to visit Haridwar then while returning from Manali/Shimla you can drop down at Chandigarh and from there you can get bus or taxi to Haridwar. It is a 5-7 hrs journey that depends on the mode of transport you choose. But if you are visiting haridwar then please keep a whole day for haridwar and Rishikesh(near to haridwar).
Another, thing i would like to mention that keep a day as buffer because you will be traveling in the peek winter.
Also, avoid visiting lots of place, rather spend some good amount of time at a single place. In this manner you can enjoy the beauty of the nature as well as it will be less tiring for you.
Also, do not forget to keep lots of woolen cloths as even Delhi gets chilly during jan.

hi chitra how are you.
as you are cominmg from bangalore first you should go to shimla because if you coming by karnataka exp. or sampark kranti . you will reach delhi aroud 1.30 pm so after taking ur lunch you can moov for shimla so same day you can reach shimla that means you can save one day....
enjoy next 2 days shimla then manali.... after manali it will more better for you to to see place around shimla like chail,, dharmshala,, kullu,,,renuka ji,,
(chail would be better optin)
i mean only himachal.. because haridwar is not better option for you because haridwar is 620km from manali(16hrs journey) so better will be come back to delhi then go to agra and fatehpur sikri...... because if you wish to go to haridwar your journey will be tiring,,, avoid visiting so much places..

i agreed to nitin enjoy beauty of the nature....
and dont worry about hotels....

And chitradhananjay, Kullu is nearer to Manali, it's not midway Shimla - Manali.

ok reg hotels we shall book when we go there
but give details reg vehicle from delhi to all the places
as we are 5 & one child which is suitable, if so what will be charges inclusive of taxes and bata

hi how are you.
if you are reching delhi around 10am then you moov to shimla samme day you can reach shimla ...
as you are 5 members S.U.V will be better for you like scorpio,,,tavera,, innova,, usually they charge 10rs per k.m inclusive all taxes or 1500rs to 1700rs per day plus fuel...
and in january how much they will charge i can not say anything.. you can confirm rates in january.. rates will be aprox same...
