Just thought I'd apprise of the following:-
1. there is no public transport in Gurgaon, so you'll have to buy a car here. And be able to drive in India. Or at least, get a driver. 2. If (1) is not an option at all, then you'll have to live within walking distance of your place of work. For instance, if your office is in say Plaza Tower then you'd have to live in Silver Oaks or somewhere close by in Phase 1. 3. Rs 8,000 a month is low for Gurgaon. You would be better off sharing with a flatmate. The rent for a 3-bedroom house these days is around 15-20,000. Why don't you write in with some more details: nature of work, will you be staying with someone, location of office etc. |

well,I will work in Infinity Tower and I was already searching for rents of flats at www.99acres.com and there were many flats for 7500-8000RS per mounth. But as it if through broker,so will be a bit difficult..the company will provide a cab so no worry about transports there. I just need to find some nice place where to stay.Am not too much demanding
but cant also afford flat for 10 000RS anyways thnx for info |

Actually, you really will find it difficult to get a flat in the range that you are talking about. Your best bet is DLF Phase III.
Also, if you are looking to get a house without a broker, then either websites like 99acres are your friend (they really do work), or you can ask your office. Normally, the HR and existing employees can help out (they may have special arrangements with brokers as well). Cheers. (www.gurgaonwatch.com) |

Check out www.gurgaonscoop.com
The Sunday edition of Times of India or Hindustan Times are the best source. Best bet is to look for room mates amongst your co-workers. |
