Question Moving personal belongings Bombay to Delhi???

Need to move around 4-5 boxes of my belongings from Andheri(E) Mumbai to Delhi, approx. 20-25 kgs total weight.

Can anyone suggest a reliable method of sending these, company names appreciated. Am happy for them to travel by road, as long as they arrive unscathed (and untouched!) SafEx india's website seems to be down at the moment, so any more suggestions greatly appreciated.

An efficient method with minimum fuss is the order of the day as it's all a little last minute i.e. doorstep to doorstep, as relocating to Delhi by Sunday, so if they arrive a few days after that no probs.

thanks

u can contact some movers and packers or send by railway parcel, but in parcel the handling might be rough,, some known and renown movers and packers are

www.agarwalpackers.com/

and search for movers and packers in google you will get lots of websites.. else you can also contact some transportation company.. you have lots of options , railway parcel, courier companies, movers and packers, transportation companies.

Agrwal Packers & Leo Packers are two very good company. They carry goods on replacement warranty...so stop worrying.....

We used Star Worldwide when shipping goods in the opposite direction, and were happy with their service, but they are pricey. Also we were shipping a much larger quantity of goods, so I don't know if they would consider a smaller order like yours. Might be worth it checking them out, though.

Just thought I would update this. Ended up going with Blue Dart as they were the easiest, or so I thought! prob had around 60 kg of stuff in the end, quoted me around 1800Rs for 6 boxes by road, approx. 3 day delivery time. So left some Rupees with my neighbours so they could hand the boxes over yesterday. turns out
1. they needed the cartons to be left open so they could have a pokey nose at whats inside
2. they needed a declaration, which I had left, which they didn't need in the end as it was personal items
3. 220kg or something? APPARENTLY as 2 of the boxes were large ie. around 10cm x 60cmx60xm...maybe a standard shipping carton size, they charge by VOLUME, so they approximated all my gear that way and end up with 220 kg or so, and 4180 Rs! so opted not for insurance which would have bumped the cost up to over 8000rs. now I'm hoping I get all my boxes

so next time best to send everything in small boxes!
