looking for room in south delhi for january and february

Hi All,

I have been living in Delhi for the last 5 months on an exchange program, and have been staying at a hostel at my college in South Delhi. I am finishing up there this week, heading to Europe for a few weeks, and upon my return to Delhi in January, I will need somewhere new to call home (preferably without the 7:30 pm curfew imposed at the hostel!)

I am only planning a short term stay in January, probably until the end of February, so a bit over a month. I understand thats a short time, but am just looking for an already etablished share-house which may have a spare room in that time... or maybe sharing with a female who is already living on her own with a spare room. I am in my young 20's, female, Australian, and would prefer to be sharing with other females....

I'm looking for anywhere in south delhi, I'll be working at the Habitat Centre, so somewhere not too far to commute from there.

So if you have a spare room, or know someone who does, please let me know. I'll be in Delhi until Monday, so am free to come and see any places until then.

Have you tried "Home Away from Home", 1st flr., D-8 Gulmohar Park? She gives rates by month as well as night and sounds nice. Tel. 26560289. Listed in Lonley Planet.

im not in delhi at the moment but am coming back on jan 20 and still looking for somewhere nearish to the habitat centre to live... do let me know if anyone thinks of anything... thanks

Hi friend, Sunder Nagar is the best suited budgeted location
near Habitat Centre. You may opt for five star hotels in the vicinity as well such The Oberoi's & Ambassador Hotel.

five star hotels arent really in my budget.... am more looking for a share house situation or something... thanks for the advice though
